P90x suggestions

Exercising either five or six days 7 days shouldn't matter a great deal ultimately, provided you're training intense. The resistance days in P90X usually are meant to be circuit training which means that you should go on to a higher exercise as soon as you catch your breath again. With this, your heartrate will remain elevated throughout the whole routine which means a larger metabolism and greater energy expenditure in the long run. Should you be competent to follow, I'd recommend to stay from the timeline, even if it gets hard sometimes. I always take bit more time breaks (+15 sec) among the moves because I lift some really heavy stuff which in turn wear me out, especially when you are looking at large muscles like legs, butt and back. Also you can substitute a cardio workout rather than doing Yoga. I'm sure Yoga is beneficial with regard of health aspects. But if you're a guy who still carries some belly flaps around, maybe a moderate cardio workout will be better to help burning off fat.
